I have to order the life-changing pineapple slicer–I knew there had to be an easier way! I love to place fresh pineapple slices on the grill…you can place the slices directly on the grates if they have been treated with a bit of grill spray, in a fish griller with grill spray, or on aluminum foil. It an awesome partner for all grill fare and the sugars in the pineapple carmelize as the slices cook. Enjoy!!
Loved the bike path blog. This must have been the most exercise you got in the last two months. You are too funny, but seriously the path looks awesome. Wish I was there!!! Oh the sandwich looked so yummy too, can’t exercise without a feeding after!!!! Love you wicked domestic “DIVAS!”
While the basil limeade sounds delish, you have to try the Summer Beer. I’m sure there are other recipes out there, but I made it again this weekend and got great reviews. It’s one can of frozen pink limonade concentrate, measure almost same can of vodka, then one beer of your choice. Shake it up, pour over ice, you can garnish with lemon/lime and YUMMMY, but be careful it packs a powerful punch. AND maybe after a few you may get a little sour throat from the ade part, but still very yummy and refreshing. You wicked domestic divas must try!!!!
We met at Amy & Ryan’s wedding. I’m a friend of the Sullivan/Dane family and have my own blog with my girlfriends. I check yours often and love it. I just sent the wedding hanger idea to them as we have two weddings in our group this year. Anyway my real reason for contacting you is have you used black rice yet? I hear its great but haven’t tried it yet. Also have you used black linguini in any recipes? Thanks! Pattie
PS I saw Amy & Ryan last weekend. Ryan went to his first Patriots game with us. He had lots of fun, I think?!?!?!
Hi Patty,
Thanks for reading! I’m so glad you’re enjoying the blog. I was super excited to find the wedding hanger idea and just had to share it with you all. It’s so nice to give a personalized gift to a bride to be! To answer your question, I haven’t tried black rice yet but I’ve read a lot about it and have been wanting to try my hand at it. Thanks for commenting!

Just stumbled onto your blog via Foodbuzz. Normally I don’t like to stumble in public but this time it was worth it. It’s such a fun read – you have a great voice! Looking forward to more. (Can one subscribe?) Take care!

Love the new look. Have to catch up on previous blogs. I also treat myself to weekly flowers or a flowering plant.
